Engineering Manager

FloatSysis seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager to provide technical and strategic leadership across complex marine and offshore engineering projects. This is a senior role responsible for driving engineering excellence, mentoring teams, engaging with clients, and supporting the company's growth in the marine and offshore sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee end-to-end marine and offshore engineering projects, ensuring technical quality, compliance, andtimelydelivery

• Provide strategic and technical direction to multidisciplinary engineering teams

• Review and approve critical engineering documents, designs, and technical reports

• Act as the senior technical interface with clients, partners, and project stakeholders

• Support business development through technical proposals, estimations, and solution development

• Mentor senior and junior engineers, building long-term technical capability withinFloatSys

• Collaborate with management and other department heads to align engineering activities with company strategy

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline

• 10+ years of experience in marine and/or offshore engineering roles

• Strong exposure to shipyards, offshore projects, floating systems, or marine engineering consultancies

• Proven experience in leading teams and managing multiple engineering projects

• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

The person recruited will be on probation for the initial 6-month period.
