Job Description

You will be responsible for lubricant and solutions sales, new business development, and account management. To be successful in this role, you should have 5-10 years of experience in technical sales of lubricant additives or specialty lubricants and greases. You must possess excellent selling skills, be a self-starter, well-organized, and motivated. A strong technical background in lubricant additives formulation, testing, and performance is required. Additionally, you should have a working knowledge of the chemistry of lubricant and metalworking additives, the ability to interact well with customers, and provide innovative solutions to customer needs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. Your duties and responsibilities will include visiting target customers regularly to promote King Additives, initiate new projects, obtain new approvals, and generate new business for Castrol oil and lubricants. You will conduct technical sales presentations to customers on the advantages of Castrol oil and its applications. Follow-up on sales call reports, sample requests, customer projects, and other customer requests will also be part of your responsibilities. Collaborating with the Castrol Technical Service department to develop performance data, solve customer formulating problems, and provide technical assistance is crucial. You will initiate technical testing and product optimization proposals for specific customer projects and support new business opportunities. Writing visit reports, periodic sales reports, and market reports will be necessary. In addition, you will support the Sales Manager in sales budgeting and pricing issues and contribute to maintaining working knowledge and promoting quality assurance in compliance with ISO 9001-2015 requirements. Prior experience in formulating lubricants, greases, and RPs will be beneficial. You should have a minimum of 4 years of experience in marine lubricant oil selling and marketing from a reputed company. Exposure to a good customer base in the marine and offshore sectors in India and overseas is required. Proficiency in communication, good team player skills, shouldering responsibilities, excellent presentation skills using Powerpoint/CRM/other software, problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities, good technical capability to handle lubricating oil changes with customers, hands-on experience with CRM software, familiarity with sales performance metrics, leadership skills, organizational skills, time management skills, customer-oriented mindset with strong negotiation skills, and analytical and data-driven problem-solving abilities are mandatory skills. Desired skills for this role include demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships, knowledge of other brand oil applications and usage, pricing, and willingness to travel within India and overseas.,
