Product Manager
for the
CXone Mpower Platform
team. The focus is on building out the core Platform Services that underpin the CXone Mpower platform and discover innovative Generative AI / Large Language Model driven solutions that support and streamline day to day tasks for our customers.The Director of Product Management works closely with CXone Mpower Platform leadership to direct, establish, maintain, and plan the overall direction and goals for assigned product solutions. The successful candidate drives product roadmap and backlog activities while owning and enforcing profit and loss responsibilities for a multi-million dollar solution. Coordinate and negotiate product issues with the engineering, operations, marketing, training, and sales groups. Interacts with sales, development, training, product marketing, and operations to define requirements, and directs interaction with engineering and solutions management on product development activities.
How will you make an impact?
- Identifying, pursuing, and maintaining key relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
- Driving the business. Maximizing revenue and margin growth by identifying new business opportunities and opportunities for resource optimization.
- Definition & coordination of "whole" solution. This includes the definition of the products and features.
- Developing product roadmaps, and managing solution backlog of stories and requirements.
- Prioritizing competing requirements to support the business and working with multiple departments to help them integrate with the CXone Mpower Platform
- Obtaining relevant customer and market data to guide and validate company direction on product development.
- Directing the efforts of product managers to document, and communicate product development and product improvement projects with accompanying concepts, use cases, requirements, and project plans.
- Proactively work with sales to assist with sales opportunities.
- Day to day management, coordination, and delivery of projects related to assigned product lines.
- Regularly report Performance Metrics relevant to assigned products.
- Traveling to customer sites to understand needs and fulfill expectations.
- Attending trade shows; participate in panel discussions & presentations to represent NiCE CXone as industry experts and thought leaders in our space.
- Providing leadership to individuals on team(s) through coaching, feedback, development goals, and performance management.
- Responsible for recruiting, hiring and firing for the department.
- Follow the company Code of Ethics and policies and procedures at all times.
- Communicate in an effective and professional way with customers in and outside of NiCE CXone
Have you got what it takes?
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Marketing, or similar field or equivalent work experience required. Master’s Degree preferred.
- 12+ years of product management experience with formal product management techniques, tools, and principles involved in planning and delivering new software products and services.
- Requires in-depth knowledge in and experience with agile & SCRUM development methodologies.
- Experience with P&L accountability
- Requires excellent oral and written communication skills in English including vocabulary, spelling, composition, and grammar.
- Requires ability to read and understanding technical information well enough to convey in original written communications to multiple audiences.
- Requires ability to personally interact with technical resources and listen carefully, taking time to understand the points being made, and asking questions where appropriate.
- Requires excellent skills with specialized computer software for drafting and producing documents and diagrams
- Experience with SaaS Platforms is a must. Contact Center Platform experience is nice to have.
- Technical experience in Cloud (AWS), Micro Services is a must. Experience in Platform Monetization is nice to have.
- Experience managing one’s own time and balancing many different projects simultaneously.
- Experience with software development, networking, hosted applications, telecommunications, or other similar technical products
- People leadership experience.
