Job Description


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Finance and Administration to lead the strategic financial management and administrative functions of our organization. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategy, driving operational efficiency, and ensuring strong governance across departments. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and a proven track record in financial leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the financial planning and analysis processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modeling.
  • Oversee financial reporting and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor organizational performance and provide insights and recommendations for improvement based on data-driven analysis.
  • Manage cash flow, banking relationships, investments, and risk management strategies.
  • Lead the preparation and review of financial statements, audit documentation, and regulatory filings.
  • Oversee all administrative operations including procurement, facilities, contracts, and general office management.
  • Provide leadership and direction to finance, HR, and administration teams to support organizational goals.
  • Ensure internal controls, policies, and procedures are maintained and improved as needed.
  • Serve as a key advisor to the executive leadership team on financial planning, organizational development, and operational matters.
  • Drive process improvements and implement systems to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of administrative and financial operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field. A Master’s degree (MBA, MPA) or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (e.g., IFRS or GAAP), compliance frameworks, and risk management principles.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in finance and administrative functions.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in financial systems, ERP software, and advanced Excel modeling.
