Job Description

Position: Director Admissions

The Director – Admissions will be responsible for leading and managing the university’s end-to-end admissions process, ensuring the formulation and execution of robust strategies to attract, evaluate, and enroll a diverse, talented, and high-quality student body in alignment with the institution’s vision and goals, while simultaneously enhancing and upholding the university’s brand value in a highly competitive higher education landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Policy & Compliance:

    Design, implement, and regularly update admission policies and procedures that are transparent, efficient, and compliant with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
  • Admissions Management:

    Oversee application evaluation processes, ensuring fairness, accuracy, and efficiency in candidate assessment and selection.
  • Strategy & Branding:

    Strategize and implement innovative marketing and digital campaigns to strengthen the university’s visibility, reputation, and brand equity at national and international levels.
  • Outreach Programs & Engagement:

    Plan and execute structured

    outreach programs

    such as school and college visits, career fairs, counseling sessions, and engagement workshops to build strong pipelines of prospective students. Proactively engage with parents, counselors, and community partners to promote the university and create long-term relationships.
  • Collaboration & Networking:

    Work closely with academic departments to align admission criteria with program objectives, while building and nurturing strong relationships with feeder schools, colleges, counselors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making:

    Analyze enrollment trends and demographic data to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide data-driven recommendations to university leadership.
  • Leadership & Team Development:

    Lead, mentor, and develop the admissions team to ensure seamless operations, a superior applicant experience, and adherence to the institution’s core values of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Continuous Improvement:

    Stay updated with emerging best practices, admissions technologies, and market dynamics to drive innovation, efficiency, and competitiveness in the admissions process.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • A rich experience of at least 10 years in university admissions or a closely related domain

    with proven expertise in leading large-scale admission operations and strategies.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to manage and motivate high-performing teams.
  • Expertise in admissions technology platforms, CRM systems, and data analytics for enrollment management.
  • Deep understanding of higher education trends, student recruitment practices, outreach methodologies, and the importance of aligning admissions with institutional brand building.
  • A track record of promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in student recruitment and enrollment.
