Job Summary

Provide front line leadership oversight to the operational accounting activities related to account reconcilement and maintenance. Manage providing operational accounting support to internal business groups and/or operations departments to ensure that accounts are managed within the account policy requirements and loans are completed with the assigned SLA. Oversee the team ensuring smooth operations and complicate with Service Level Agreement. The Leader must ensure procedures and controls are adhered to mitigate risk, key targets are met, work distribution is effective, talent management, transformation activities and being accountable for all business deliverables, Stakeholders and People Engagement.

Responsibilities

  • The team manager will work closely with the team members to ensure work is performed smoothly and escalations are handled appropriately.
  • Manage workflow between India and US teams, monitor & coach to achieve productivity, quality, and enable a collaborative environment. Accountable for all business deliverables and KPI’s.
  • The team manager will be responsible for providing guidance and feedback to team members and ensuring those team members have what they need to perform their work duties in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Performs stretch goals assigned at the functional level and manage team members across locations of Hyderabad and Bangalore.
  • Research, respond to and resolve complex inquiries
  • Lead or contribute to customer issue resolutions that require coordination amongst various teams
  • Exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in finance and accounting.
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in Commercial Mortgage Loan Servicing and/or multinational corporations (MNCs).
  • Preferable: Knowledge of commercial mortgage servicing or banking operations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial for engaging with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Lead and manage team operations, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders across India and the US on production, quality, and security standards.
  • Support process expansion, staffing, and onboarding of new hires.
  • Develop and implement the best practices for operational efficiency. Generate daily, weekly, monthly reports of Key Metrics and provide for ad-hoc requests.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize the process.
  • Maintain and drive the risk and compliance framework.
  • Delegate tasks effectively and foster a culture of continuous learning and peer support.
  • Ensure flexibility in work schedules and readiness for business travel as needed.
  • Identify and list required applications and drives for process execution.
  • Track and report daily inventory through defined modes.
