Director Business Development

-Key Responsibilities

Regional Strategy & Growth:

- Develop and execute the business development strategy in alignment with company goals and growth targets.

Revenue Ownership:

- Drive new customer acquisition and expansion across key enterprise, mid-market, and SME accounts.

Leadership & Team Management:

- Build, mentor, and lead a team of business development managers and regional sales heads to achieve consistent performance and pipeline growth.

Market Development:

-Identify emerging markets, industry trends, and potential business opportunities within logistics, SaaS, and e-commerce ecosystems.

Partnerships & Alliances:

- Establish and manage strategic alliances with logistics partners, technology enablers, and enterprise clients.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

-Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Networks teams to ensure seamless solution delivery and customer success.

Performance & Reporting:

-Track KPIs including revenue growth, customer acquisition cost, conversion ratios, and regional profitability; present business updates to leadership.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- 10 years of progressive experience in Business Development, preferably in SaaS, Logistics Tech, or B2B Enterprise Solutions.

- Proven track record in scaling regional businesses and achieving revenue targets.

- Strong network and understanding of business landscapes.

- Experience managing multi-location.

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree preferred.
