Director Business Development

Role & responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new business opportunities across Large Corporates, Mid-Corporates, Financial Institutions, and Structured Finance segments.
  
• Meet and engage with Promoters, CFOs, Treasurers, Bankers, Investment Bankers, and Consultants to generate new rating mandates.
  
• Lead client pitches, presentations, and discussions to explain rating methodologies, processes, and value propositions.
  
• Maintain and grow strategic long-term relationships with key corporate clients and financial market intermediaries.
  
• Track market developments, fund-raising trends, regulatory updates (SEBI/RBI), and competitor activities.
  
• Collaborate closely with internal rating/analytical teams to ensure smooth mandate execution and client servicing.
  
• Represent the organization in industry forums, conferences, and investor networking platforms.
  
• Lead and mentor BD / Origination team members to achieve assigned business targets.
  
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal governance standards.
