We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced DevOps Lead to spearhead our DevOps initiatives and drive the efficiency and reliability of our software delivery pipelines. In this critical role, you will lead a team of DevOps engineers, champion best practices, and play a key role in our cloud migration strategy, specifically from GCP to AWS. Your deep understanding of AWS, experience with API Gateways, and expertise in managing Kubernetes clusters across multiple regions will be instrumental in ensuring the scalability and resilience of our platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to bring innovative and high-quality products to market. Your expertise will contribute to the success of our organization and ensure that we continue to meet the evolving needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

● Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

● Design, implement, and manage robust and scalable CI/CD pipelines using industry- standard tools.

● Drive the migration of our infrastructure and applications from GCP to AWS, ensuring a seamless and efficient transition.

● Architect, deploy, and manage API Gateways (e.g., Kong, API Gateway) to securely expose and manage our APIs.

● Configure and maintain secure and highly available Kubernetes clusters across multiple AWS regions.

● Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

● Establish and enforce best practices for infrastructure automation, security, and monitoring.

● Develop and maintain comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues.

● Collaborate closely with development, QA, and security teams to ensure smooth and efficient software delivery.

● Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and application deployment issues.

● Stay up to date with the latest DevOps trends, tools, and technologies, and recommend their adoption where appropriate.

● Contribute to the development and maintenance of comprehensive documentation.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related field.

● 6+ years of experience in DevOps engineering role

● Strong working experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including services like EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, etc.

● Solid understanding and hands-on experience with API Gateway technologies (e.g., Kong, AWS API Gateway, Apigee).

● Extensive experience in deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters, including multi-region configurations for high availability and disaster recovery.

● Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.

● Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

● Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions.

● Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or CloudWatch.

● Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

● Strong communication and collaboration skills.

● Experience 1 with security best practices in cloud environments.
