Position Overview

Demand Planning Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Forecasting & Demand Planning
• Develop, manage, and continuously improve short-, mid-, and long-term demand forecasts.
• Utilize statistical models, historical data, market insights, and cross-functional inputs to produce accurate demand forecasts.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and implement corrective actions to reduce errors and bias.
• Supply Planning & Alignment
• Translate demand forecasts into supply requirements to ensure product availability.
• Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to align supply with demand.
• Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities in supply planning and propose actionable solutions.
• Monitor and maintain secondary stock in all the channels to anticipate the sales increase
• Cross-functional Collaboration
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to incorporate business intelligence into demand plans.
• Lead the monthly S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process and present demand outlooks.
• Act as a key liaison between commercial and supply chain functions to align strategies.
• Data & Process Management
• Maintain planning tools and systems, ensuring data integrity and usability.
• Develop dashboards and KPIs to track forecast accuracy, service levels, and inventory performance.
• Drive continuous improvement in demand and supply planning processes.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 3–7 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain management, or related functions.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in forecasting tools and ERP systems (SAP, APO, Oracle, etc.).
• Advanced Excel and data visualization skills; experience with statistical forecasting methods is a plus.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
