The main purpose of the job:
This job role concerns support in the delivery of services by In-country Logistics Private Limited, India, and to support In-country’s senior management team in the management of the Università Cattolica account with In-country. This role involves the delivery of recruitment objectives in India, as well as internal and external stakeholder management, and planning and delivering activities for maximising recruitment outcomes within a budget.
Person specification:
- 4–6 years of proven experience in international student recruitment in India with a reputable international university.
- Demonstrated success in agent management, market development, and conversion-oriented recruitment workflows.
- Experience collaborating with Indian schools, colleges, universities, and education networks, with a solid understanding of the local education landscape.
- Strong ability to work independently, exercising critical thinking, prioritisation, and sound operational judgement.
- Excellent relationship-building skills across cultures, including with senior academic stakeholders.
- Fluent written and spoken English, with confident public speaking and presentation skills.
- Experience using CRM systems, managing pipelines, and producing structured reports based on data and KPIs.
- Ability to make strategic and operational decisions based on evidence and outcomes.
- Experience managing budgets, analysing ROI, and evaluating activity effectiveness.
- Experience with business travel organisation and logistics.
- Experience living, studying, or working abroad, with sensitivity to academic and workplace cultures, and readiness to understand the Italian institutional context.

Main duties and accountabilities:
Student Recruitment & Market Development
- Maintain public status as an employee of In-country.
- Lead the growth of student recruitment from India through a structured, data-informed approach.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of In-country’s India Market Plan for Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.
- Build and maintain a coordinated recruitment calendar, including fairs, school and college visits, agent-driven initiatives, and targeted conversion events, ensuring alignment with In-country and Cattolica International priorities.
- Represent Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore at recruitment events across India, upholding high professional standards and managing related logistics (travel, accommodation, scheduling).
- Engage effectively with students, parents, agents, alumni, schools, universities, industry partners, and governmental stakeholders.
- Plan and deliver conversion-focused initiatives for prospects and offer-holders throughout the recruitment funnel.
- Ensure timely and accurate follow-up after events, recording leads, tracking conversion stages, and sharing outcomes with Cattolica International.
- Coordinate visits to India by Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore representatives, preparing detailed itineraries, briefs, and logistics.
- Monitor the ROI of recruitment and marketing activities in India, providing clear recommendations for improvement.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore’s presence in India through evidence-based proposals.
- Use CRM data, KPIs, and analytics to steer decisions, prioritise activities, and refine recruitment strategies.
Data, Reporting & Compliance
- Ensure accurate, timely, and GDPR-compliant data collection, storage, and transfer for all leads.
- Maintain meticulous data accuracy across In-country’s systems and in coordination with Cattolica International’s CRM processes.
- Produce reports that meet the structure and standards defined by In-country and Cattolica International, including conversion metrics, insights, KPIs, and next steps.
- Maintain full accountability for data quality, lead follow-up, and performance tracking, with timely escalation of critical issues.

- Provide logistical and operational support for partnership-related activities, including senior-level delegations from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.
- Collaborate with Cattolica International to research, evaluate, and support partnerships with Indian universities.
- Generate market intelligence on graduate employability trends in India and share insights with relevant units.
- Manage professional communication and relationship-building with academic and industry stakeholders, ensuring alignment with Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore’s values and strategy.
Coordination & Communication
- Maintain regular and structured communication with Cattolica International, ensuring alignment on priorities, events, leads, and workflows.
- Collaborate closely with Cattolica International and operate in line with shared objectives, while remaining structurally part of In-country.
- Ensure that all activities, communications, decisions, and reporting align with the standards and strategic direction defined by In-country and Cattolica International.
