About the Company



Lead the review and negotiation of complex client and main contracts (e.g., EPC, EPCM, Service Agreements) to identify commercial risks.



About the Role



Draft, review, and finalize all necessary sub-contracts and service agreements to protect the company's position.



Responsibilities



  • Draft, review, and finalize material supply agreements and Purchase Orders (POs), ensuring favorable terms for delivery and quality.
  • Establish and enforce standardized contract terms and conditions for both services and material supply across the portfolio.
  • Advise the bid team on contractual risks, qualifications, and liabilities during the entire tendering phase.
  • Ensure all contractual arrangements strictly comply with local, national, and international laws relevant to the engineering services industry.
  • Manage the timely processing and issuance of all formal project correspondence (Notices, Claims, Waivers) in accordance with contractual requirements.
  • Oversee the change management process, including drafting and negotiating change orders to maximize compensation.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for contractual interpretation from Site Management, Planning, and Finance teams.
  • Systematically track and manage contract milestones, performance bonds, bank guarantees, and insurance coverage.
  • Coordinate closely with the Planning In-charge to ensure the project schedule and progress reports align with contractual milestones and payment terms.
  • Conduct regular commercial reviews of active contracts to forecast financial risks and opportunities.
  • Monitor and manage contractual risks associated with long-lead item supply, delivery schedules, and material escalation clauses.
  • Lead the preparation and substantiation of all claims (Extension of Time, cost recovery) against clients/contractors.
  • Defend the company against contractual claims raised by sub-vendors or clients.
  • Analyze dispute scenarios, recommend appropriate resolution strategies, and ensure timely contract closeout.
  • Evaluate competitor contract benchmarks, including material supply terms, to ensure the company's commercial terms remain competitive and risk-optimized.
  • Possess specialized technical understanding of the engineering and construction scope, including material specifications, sufficient to assess the validity of technical claims.
  • Utilize advanced document control and contract management software to track obligations and compliance across the portfolio.
  • Exhibit Unwavering Integrity and superior Negotiation and Persuasion skills to protect the company's financial interests and resolve complex commercial disagreements.
