Contract Manager

Purpose/Objective

Assist the Lead Solar in managing the full lifecycle of contracts, ensuring compliance, timely execution, and effective coordination across stakeholders for a high-value infrastructure project.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Key Responsibilities: 1. Contract Administration - Support in drafting, reviewing, and maintaining contract documents and obligation registers. - Prepare summaries and circulate key contractual clauses to relevant teams. 2. Compliance & Documentation - Track compliance with statutory, safety, and environmental requirements. - Maintain accurate records of correspondence, approvals, and change orders, and timely submission of notices. preparation of extension of time, claims 3. Change Management - Assist in preparing change notifications and maintaining change order logs. - Coordinate with internal teams for timely approvals and documentation. 4. Stakeholder Coordination - Liaise with Engineering, Procurement, Site and Billing teams to ensure contractual deliverables are met. - Facilitate communication between vendors and internal departments. 5. Reporting & MIS - Prepare periodic reports on contract status, risks, and performance metrics for review by Sr. Manager and Head Contract Manager. - Update dashboards and trackers for management visibility. Required Skills & Competencies - Understanding of contract terms, risk management basics, and compliance requirements. - Strong organizational and documentation skills. - Proficiency in MS Office and contract management tools like MSP, Primavera - Good communication and coordination abilities.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications: - Graduate in Engineering. Experience: - 12–15 years of experience in contract administration or project support roles. - Exposure to large-scale RE/infrastructure projects preferred.
