Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1.

Ensure timely compliance with all applicable labor laws, industrial acts, tax laws, and environmental regulations.
Maintain updated records of licenses, registrations, and statutory filings (e.g., PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, GST, etc.).
Coordinate with internal and external auditors for statutory and compliance audits.

2.

Develop, implement, and update company compliance policies and procedures.
Draft and review internal policies to ensure alignment with current laws.
Maintain compliance registers and documentation as per statutory norms.

3.

Conduct regular compliance reviews and risk assessments.
Prepare monthly/quarterly compliance status reports for management review.
Investigate compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.

4.

Liaise with regulatory bodies, consultants, and legal advisors on compliance-related matters.
Coordinate with HR, Accounts, Admin, and Project teams to ensure smooth compliance implementation.

5.

Conduct employee awareness sessions on compliance, ethics, and regulatory requirements.
Provide guidance to teams on compliance-related queries.

6.

Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk.

Develop preventive measures and monitor implementation of corrective plans
