Community Lead


The Community Lead is responsible for managing the end-to-end community experience, driving engagement, managing outreach, gathering insights, and developing strategies to help the community grow meaningfully. 


I. Engagement

  • Manage daily interactions across our WhatsApp group through consistent, thoughtful prompts, updates, and discussions.
  • Share event promotions and brand updates organically, maintaining an authentic and caring tone.
  • Adapt communication based on real-time responses to ensure conversations feel relevant and alive.
  • Encourage member-led interactions and moments of connection to strengthen community bonds.
  • Maintain a balanced energy, playful, empathetic, and human, while ensuring clear direction and purpose in communication.


II. Research & Insights

  • Track community engagement patterns to understand what truly motivates members.
  • Map out and refine the member journey, from discovery to participation and retention.
  • Research audience behavior and use findings to design relevant prompts, activities, and events.
  • Develop organic outreach and growth strategies for the community through targeted WhatsApp and group promotions.
  • Share actionable insights with the Brand Lead for building presence on Reddit and LinkedIn.
  • Maintain records of engagement metrics, messaging effectiveness, and key learnings for team alignment.


III. Leadership

  • Oversee WhatsApp community outreach to ensure a seamless and engaging member experience.
  • Guide the Brand Lead in building authentic onboarding experiences 
  • Partner with the Creative and Copy teams to offer direction for community-based content, including reels, newsletters, or post ideas.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for anything concerning the community, ensuring all messaging, design, and engagement reflect what members need.
  • Collaborate closely with the Founder and Coordinator to keep campaigns, discussions, and event-related communication on track.


IV. Events

  • Work with the Founder to ideate and design events that speak directly to the community’s needs.
  • Use insights from engagement trends to shape topics, themes, and positioning of events.
  • Coordinate with the Event and Marketing teams to execute strong, thoughtful event promotions.
  • Build lasting engagement loops, turning interest in discussions into participation and long-term involvement.
  • Collect post-event feedback to measure satisfaction and create actionable steps for improvement.

Time Availability:

This is a part-time role with flexibility in working hours. However, here are some conditions that need to be met for this role:

  • No negotiation regarding scheduled message timings; messages must go out as planned.
  • Event timings typically occur between 9:00 PM and 10:30 PM; availability is expected for all events.
  • Immediate welcoming of new members and prompt thank-you messages after each event are mandatory.
  • Responsible for ensuring smooth onboarding: verifying profiles and granting access immediately upon request.
  • Certain fixed dates will be designated for internal meetings to review and plan the community calendar; attendance is expected.


Employment Terms

  • Compensation:

    This is a paid, part-time position starting with a monthly compensation of

    ₹5000,

    with scope for growth based on performance.
  • Probation Period:

    The first

    three

    months of employment will be considered a probation period. During this time, either party may discontinue the engagement with short notice if required.
  • Flexibility & Schedule:

    This is a remote, part-time role with flexible work hours. Being responsive during agreed-upon coordination times is essential.
  • Qualifications:

    Open to candidates from any educational background. Preference will be given to individuals from communications, psychology, or marketing backgrounds. Candidates with

    Sales Knowledge/Experience

    are prioritised.
