Community Lead

About the Role

At Airtribe, we believe that community is our biggest moat, not just a support function, but a real driver of growth, trust, and belonging. As our Community Lead, youll be at the heart of it all. From setting the vision to executing on the ground, youll build meaningful engagement strategies, drive referrals, manage alumni connections, and design community programs that create value for learners, alumni, partners, and the brand.

Role Responsibilities

• Owning the overall community strategy, from planning to execution, for different cohorts and programs.
• Driving consistent engagement across online platforms, events, and initiatives.
• Leading initiatives like referral programs, ambassador programs, and alumni engagement.
• Keeping a strong pulse on tech trends and industry topics to spark meaningful conversations in the community.
• Working cross-functionally with growth, ops, and content teams to deliver a great learner experience.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in building and growing communities.
• A proactive "doer" who knows how to ship, iterate, and scale.
• Great at online communication and creating real-time connections (from Slack to live sessions).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience specifically in edtech, tech, or creator-led ecosystems.
• High ownership mindset with a love for building things from scratch.

Good to Have

• A sense of energy and empathy, knowing how to keep people involved, valued, and connected.
• Ability to track impact through engagement metrics and feedback loops for continuous improvement.
