Role Overview

Deputy Commercial Manager / Commercial Manager

This role is critical in ensuring financial discipline, vendor management, statutory compliance, inventory control, and high-quality MIS for strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

📌 Accounts Payable & Vendor Transactions

• End-to-end processing of vendor invoices and payments
• Vendor account reconciliation
• Issuance and follow-up of Debit Notes (Purchase/Sales/Job Work/Product Trials)

📌 Treasury & Cash Management

• Daily cash flow planning and cash management
• Bank account reconciliation and treasury coordination

📌 Inventory & Fixed Assets

• Monthly RM/PM/FG stock reconciliation
• Monthly physical stock verification
• Fixed assets verification, tagging, and coding across the plant

📌 Compliance & Taxation (GST & TDS)

• Managing GST returns, assessments, and refunds
• Coordinating factory-level TDS data with HO Finance
• Ensuring full compliance with statutory & audit requirements

📌 Reporting, MIS & Budgeting

• Preparing MIS for HO Finance, Factory Manager, and GM Operations
• Plant expenses (gain/loss) analysis
• Wages, salaries, and manpower cost reporting
• Supporting quarterly and annual budget finalization
• Tracking expenditure vs. budget and sharing timely variance alerts
• Comprehensive reporting support to HO Finance

📌 Support in Finalization & Process Excellence

• Supporting HO Finance in balance sheet finalization
• Resolving Focus/ERP issues and ensuring seamless processes
• Acting as contingency support during team member absence

What You Bring

📘 Education

• M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter/ CA preferred

📘 Experience

• 5–10 years of plant-level commercial, finance, or accounts experience (FMCG preferred)

📘 Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, statutory compliance
• Hands-on expertise in vendor management, AP, MIS & budgeting
• Working knowledge of plant ERP systems (Focus ERP preferred)
• Strong command over MS Excel & reconciliations
