About the Role


Responsibilities


Client Engagement & Needs Analysis

  • Engage with prospective and existing clients to understand their business challenges and AWS cloud requirements.
  • Conduct detailed needs assessments to uncover opportunities where AWS solutions can deliver measurable value.
  • Deliver impactful presentations and product demonstrations tailored to client needs.


Solution Development & Proposal Generation

  • Craft customized AWS cloud solutions aligned with client objectives and technical landscapes.
  • Prepare and present persuasive proposals, quotes, and solution roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with AWS solution architects and internal technical teams to ensure feasibility, scalability, and cost-optimization of proposed solutions.


Sales Process Management

  • Own and manage the complete sales cycle from lead prospecting through deal closure.
  • Proactively build and maintain a robust AWS cloud sales pipeline.
  • Negotiate proposals, pricing, and contracts to successfully close deals in line with revenue targets.
  • Update CRM systems with accurate information on accounts, opportunities, and sales activities.


Relationship Management

  • Develop and nurture long-term, trusted advisor relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Provide continuous follow-ups, account management, and support for client success post-deployment.
  • Act as a strategic AWS advisor, recommending best practices and emerging services relevant to client needs.


Market Knowledge & Product Expertise

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of AWS services, emerging trends in cloud technologies, and competitive offerings in the marketplace.
  • Actively deepen expertise on AWS pricing models, migrations, cloud-native solutions, and modernization strategies.
  • Share customer feedback with internal product and solution engineering teams.


Collaboration

  • Work closely with AWS Partner Network teams and internal marketing, pre-sales engineering, and delivery units.
  • Participate in enablement sessions, AWS events, and industry forums to enhance visibility and knowledge.
  • Align with marketing initiatives to generate leads and strengthen EMB Global’s position as a trusted AWS partner.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3–6 years of proven experience in cloud sales, with a focus on AWS solutions.
  • Strong understanding of AWS core services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.), cloud migration, and cost optimization strategies.
  • Experience in managing enterprise accounts and closing complex IT/cloud solution deals.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner or AWS Sales Accreditation (preferred).
