What You’ll Do

 

• Configure computer hardware and software, as well as troubleshoot related problems. 
• Participate in various compliance assessments like MLPS as needed.
• Review security insights and penetration testing results and reports and enact mitigation efforts across all systems.
• Collaborate with the ZS SOC team in installing, administering, and operating security solutions.
• Update and configure software with the latest patches and security settings to ensure the proper defenses are present.
• Configure security software and tools, analyze security requirements, and recommend improvements.
• Monitor, analyze, respond, and report suspicious behavior from security events of servers, network devices, SIEM tools, etc. Involve Incident Response and other teams as required.
• Help define, review, and enact security policies and practices.
• Stay apprised of the threat landscape, vulnerabilities, and induxstry best practices and make recommendations to improve ZS’s security posture.
• Provide analysis and trending of security log data from heterogeneous security devices.
• Review and create SOPs & technical documents/runbooks.
• Train and educate team members to understand and use proper security practices.
  

What You’ll Bring

 

• BS/BE with record of high academic achievement  
• Bachelor's Degree in CS, IT or EE with record of high academic achievement.
• 2+ years of experience in AWS and on-premise infrastructure security administration.
• Experience on participating MLPS and understanding of related controls is a plus.
• Possess strong verbal, written and team presentation communication skills.
• Ability to work within a global (US and India) team environment and contribute to the overall timely delivery of multiple projects.
• Strong knowledge of AWS security services like Security Hub, IAM, GuardDuty, Inspector, CloudTrail, Web Application Firewall (WAF), AWS Detective etc.
• Basic Knowledge of Next Generation AV tools like CrowdStrike.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating system administration.
• Strong knowledge of load balancers like F5, AWS ELB and CDN technologies/services like Akamai and AWS CloudFront.
• Strong command of networking and network security concepts.
• Familiarity with AWS technologies and services.
• Passionate about infrastructure and application security.
• Automation mindset and basic knowledge DevOps methodology.
• Experience of working in ITIL based environment.
