JOB TITLE:

Client Engagement Manager – Mumbai


JOB PURPOSE:

Nexuses’


QUALIFICATION:

BE, Diploma in Marketing/Sales, MBA (preferred not mandatory)


CERTIFICATIONS:

ITIL or solution-specific certifications (Hexagon, Ivanti, SolarWinds, AuraQuantic) are a plus.


EXPERIENCE:

7 to 10 years’ experience in the IT industry, with a minimum of 4 years in enterprise IT/software solution sales.

Must have handled ₹5 Cr+ in new business annually (not renewals).


REPORTING TO:

Mumbai


RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDES ALL TASKS):

  • Identify and acquire new enterprise clients across Manufacturing, BFSI, Pharma, and other targeted sectors
  • Sell

    Nexuses’

    software-led IT solutions:
  • Enterprise Asset Management (Hexagon)
  • ITSM/ITAM (Ivanti)
  • IT Observability (SolarWinds)
  • Business Process Automation (AuraQuantic)
  • Contact Center & AI-based Solutions
  • Develop strategic account plans, customer profiles, go-to-market (GTM) strategies, and pricing models
  • Prepare commercial proposals with India leadership/finance, lead negotiations, and close deals
  • Build trusted CXO-level relationships; own L1 conversations independently
  • Meet and exceed quarterly, half-yearly, and annual sales targets with strong revenue and margin focus
  • Track sales performance against forecasts and manage pipeline effectively
  • Continuously scan competition and market shifts; adjust strategy accordingly
  • Generate leads independently and through agency support; leverage LinkedIn, referrals, and cold calling
  • Create brand visibility and client connects through networking events, forums, and market engagements
  • Manage key accounts for upselling, cross-selling, and client retention
  • Proactively identify risks in client relationships and develop mitigation strategies
  • Collaborate with internal teams and OEM partners to maximize deal velocity and solution alignment
  • Maintain deep market knowledge and industry trends to inform GTM strategy
