Chief of Staff

Seniority, Experience & Reporting

Experience Level:

  • Typically

    5–8+ years

    of experience in startups, consulting, strategy, operations, or high-growth D2C environments
  • Exceptional candidates with slightly lower experience but strong execution depth may be considered

Reporting Line:

  • Reports

    directly to the Founder

  • Works closely with leadership across Marketing, Operations, Finance, Product, and Growth
  • May manage project owners, analysts, or small cross-functional teams

Key ResponsibilitiesFounder & Strategic Execution

  • Act as the Founder’s right hand to drive execution of top strategic priorities
  • Translate vision and decisions into clear plans, timelines, and ownership
  • Prepare briefs, decision memos, business cases, and strategic frameworks
  • Track progress of key initiatives and ensure accountability across teams

Business Operations & Process Excellence

  • Identify operational gaps, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies; design scalable processes
  • Build operating rhythms, trackers, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms
  • Streamline cross-functional workflows to reduce delays and execution leakage
  • Drive clarity on goals, KPIs, and success metrics across initiatives

Research, Market & Competitive Intelligence

  • Lead industry mapping, market research, and competitive analysis
  • Identify growth opportunities across products, channels, partnerships, and geographies
  • Maintain structured intelligence trackers and founder-ready summaries

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Coordinate with Marketing, Growth, Ops, Finance, HR, and Tech for alignment
  • Own internal project management for founder-led initiatives
  • Ensure stakeholders are aligned, informed, and moving in the same direction

Communication & Leadership Support

  • Prepare high-quality decks, reports, dashboards, and leadership presentations
  • Draft internal and external communication on behalf of the Founder when required
  • Support hiring, org design discussions, and leadership planning initiatives
