Job Description

Job Title: Chartered Accountant
Department: Finance & Accounts
Reports To: CFO
Location: Ernakulam
Employment Type: Full-time

Position Summary

The Chartered Accountant is responsible for managing end-to-end financial operations, including accounting, auditing, taxation, budgeting, and financial reporting. The role ensures financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and supports senior management in strategic decision-making through financial insights.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
Manage statutory, internal, and tax audits, ensuring timely compliance and documentation.
Handle direct and indirect tax planning, computation, and filing (Income Tax, GST, etc.).
Develop budgets, forecasts, and monitor financial performance through variance analysis.
Ensure compliance with corporate laws, financial regulations, and reporting timelines.
Oversee cost accounting, cash-flow management, and financial controls.
Provide financial advisory, risk analysis, and support for business planning.
Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, banks, and other external stakeholders.
Implement process improvements to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience

Chartered Accountant certification (CA).
2–5+ years of relevant experience in accounting, audit, or financial management.
Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, IND-AS, tax laws, and regulatory standards.
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, SAP, Oracle, ERP systems).
Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, and communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
