We are looking for a experienced professional with 4–10 years of expertise in Buying & New Product Development, handling Customer services parts (After sales parts) in Procurement.The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge in materials such as sheet metal, machining, Ferrous casting, aluminum, plastic, FRP, rubber, glass etc., coupled with experience in strategic sourcing, component development, zero based costing, and quality management.This role demands for close coordination with internal stake holder mainly Customer Services, Supply Chain, Supplier Quality, R&D and Procurement OE buyer. To ensure timely, cost effective and high quality development of Powertrain, Vehicle & Bus Body parts
  • Supplier Onboarding & Management - Identification | Data Base Management | Selection | Create & Maintain RFQs | Material Master | Supplier Audit | Awarding | PPAP | Record | PR & PO Management | Scheduling Agreement | Quote Negotiation | Spot Buy or Contract Release & Amendments.
  • Commercial & Techno Commercial Negotiation & Excellence - Substantial Negotiate, Optimize & Amend Price Revisions (Base, Packaging, Logistics, Process, Manpower, Overhead, Raw Material), MOQ, MPQ, Incoterms, Packaging Sign Off, PO release for any New Projects Parts, Running or EOP Models. Import Localization (w/o) affecting Quality & profit margins above the SNP.
  • Launch Management - Initial Order, IDK, IRL, One Time Buy, Special Buy, Final Buy - Parts Pricing, PO release, Supply coordination, follow-up during the time of New Model, Variant, Segment launch. Achieve Optimum level of Inventory from Pilot Trails till hand over. Zero Line Stop.
  • Sourcing / NPP / NPD - APQP / VDA 6.3 Time Plan Adherence. Daimler’s CVDS Adherence for Projects - First Time Right Development, MPN Coverage, Tool Cash out, Asset Management Non-financial Pre-Series QCD KPIs, FSRM, (2nd , BCC, Re - ) Sourcing's – SOB. Implement CI, CE, CR. Supplier Consolidation, Capacity Enhancement. Smart Sourcing Strategies for Domestic & Imports
  • Supplier Consultant - Proactively facilitating & re-engineering best practices between functional experts, (Operations & Inventory Planning, Purchasing, Logistics, Sales & Marketing, Engineering, Finance, and IT)
  • Supplier Risk & Mitigation - Deep Dive Analysis on Supplier Risk with Contingence Plan on SRR Score. Reports & MIS to Management. Supply Chain Performance & Operation Analytics. Prepare Supplier Strategy & Implement the Actionable Work Packages with Result oriented improves that transforms the Supplier as Sustainable Strategic Supplier.
