About the role:


Business Finance Manager


Key Responsibilities:

1. Cost Control & Optimization:

  • Develop and implement effective strategies for cost reduction and efficiency improvements across all business operations (e.g., procurement, manufacturing, marketing, logistics).
  • Monitor and analyze spending patterns, identify areas of overspend, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with department heads to establish budget targets and ensure adherence to financial guidelines.
  • Conduct regular cost-benefit analyses for new projects, initiatives, and investments.


2. Business Partnering & Collaboration:

  • Act as a trusted financial advisor to various business units (e.g., Marketing, Supply Chain, Sales, Product Development).
  • Work closely with teams to understand their financial needs, provide guidance on financial implications of business decisions, and support their strategic objectives.
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication to align financial goals with operational activities.

3. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

  • Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Prepare detailed financial models, projections, and variance analyses.
  • Generate insightful financial reports and presentations for management, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Contribute to long-term financial planning and strategic initiatives.


4. Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Implement best practices in financial management and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and external regulations.


What You Bring:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration or Finance from a reputed institute/ CA.
  • 4-5 years of progressive experience in a Business Finance or Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) role.
  • Proven track record in cost control, budget management, and financial analysis.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and business operations.
  • Experience in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sector is highly desirable.
