Role Overview

Business Development Manager

This role isn’t about selling — it’s about understanding a business, identifying its growth bottlenecks, and showing how Magsmen can elevate its brand and strategy.

You’ll engage directly with founders, CEOs, and CXOs. You’ll represent Magsmen’s thought leadership in boardrooms and across industry forums. You’ll be expected to open new markets, strengthen partnerships, and deliver results that move both reputation and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Client Relationships

  • Identify, connect, and engage with CXOs, founders, and decision-makers across industries.
  • Drive business growth across consulting verticals — Brand Consulting, Brand Creation, Personal Branding, and LinkFluence.
  • Lead end-to-end business conversations — from prospecting to pitch, from proposal to closure.
  • Build strong client retention through trust, consistent communication, and measurable outcomes.

2. Consultative Selling & Strategic Closure

  • Understand client business challenges deeply — structure problems, not just present solutions.
  • Present Magsmen frameworks such as Brand Capital Index™ and Magsmen Brand Audit Toolkit™ to demonstrate strategic impact.
  • Translate consulting value into clear ROI and actionable growth plans.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly closure targets with discipline and ownership.

3. Market Intelligence & Thought Leadership

  • Stay ahead of trends in branding, marketing, and organizational transformation.
  • Represent Magsmen in CXO circles, events, and brand summits.
  • Contribute insights that shape Magsmen’s market narrative and outreach strategy.

4. Collaboration & Internal Leadership

  • Work closely with the consulting, creative, and strategy teams for smooth handovers.
  • Collaborate on pricing structures, partnership models, and deal structuring.
  • Support in developing proposals, pitch decks, and brand audit insights customized for clients.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5 years of experience in consulting, strategic partnerships, or enterprise business development.
  • Strong existing network with CEOs, Founders, and C-suite executives.
  • Proven record of achieving or exceeding consulting revenue targets.
  • Excellent storytelling, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Deep understanding of how strategy, creativity, and business outcomes connect.
  • Self-driven, intellectually curious, and emotionally intelligent professional who thrives in high-stakes conversations.
