(IDCPL) based out of Pune, is a leading provider of innovative Corporate Office / Workplace Design and Build (D&B) solutions, specializing in creating high-performance, functional, and aesthetically pleasing office spaces for businesses across various sectors. IDCPL is Nextgen startup in the niche segment based out of Pune (Maharashtra). We are seeking a talented Business Development & Client Acquisition Manager to drive our business growth and expand our footprint in the Workplace / Corporate Office Design and Build (D&B) industry in the Western belt of India. Job Overview: The Business Development & Client Acquisition Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with potential clients, and expanding the company’s portfolio within the Workplace / Corporate Office Design and Build (D&B) sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Workplace / Corporate Office Design & Build (D&B) industry, a proven track record in sales and business development, and the ability to create strategic partnerships that drive growth. Key Roles & Responsibilities: Lead Generation & Business Growth : Identify and target potential clients, including corporate businesses, commercial real estate developers, and other organizations in need of office design and build services. Client Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and aligning solutions to their objectives. Sales Strategy & Execution : Develop and implement strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets, including market research, lead generation, proposal creation, and negotiating contracts. Project Management Support : Collaborate with the internal project management team to ensure smooth transitions from sales to project delivery, ensuring client expectations are met. Market & Competitor Analysis : Keep abreast of industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify opportunities for differentiation and positioning in the market. Networking & Partnerships : Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the company’s services and develop new business opportunities. Reporting & Performance Tracking : Maintain accurate records of sales activities, lead pipelines, and project progress, reporting regularly to senior management on performance and growth metrics. Collaboration : Work closely with the marketing and design teams to create compelling sales collateral, presentations, and proposals. Competency Requirements: Experience : 5-8 years of business development experience in the design, construction, or real estate sectors (preferably within the office design & build industry). Knowledge : Strong understanding of the workplace design and construction industry, including trends, materials, regulations, and the project lifecycle. Attributes : Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving abilities, and a track record of securing profitable contracts in the commercial design/build space. Skills : Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and client relationships simultaneously. Education : Bachelor's degree in Business, Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred). Technology : Familiarity with CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and relevant design tools. Personality Traits : Self-motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
