Job Summary

Business Development Manager


Key Responsibilities:

1. Corporate, Industrial, and Institutional Sales:

  • Identify and target potential B2B clients, including corporate entities, industrial organizations, and institutional bodies.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to secure long-term contracts and partnerships.
  • Present tailored solar energy solutions to meet the specific needs of clients, including cost savings, sustainability goals, and regulatory compliance.

2. Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in client organizations.
  • Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and site visits to understand their energy requirements and propose customized solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close deals while ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.

3. Market Research and Lead Generation:

  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and emerging trends in the corporate, industrial, and institutional sectors.
  • Generate leads through networking, referrals, industry events, and digital channels.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients and track progress through CRM tools.

4. Strategic Account Management:

  • Develop and implement account management plans to nurture existing client relationships and ensure repeat business.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., technical, finance, and operations) to deliver seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Address client concerns and provide post-sales support to maintain long-term partnerships.

5. Industry Expertise and Thought Leadership:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes related to solar energy and renewable solutions.
  • Position the company as a thought leader by participating in industry events, conferences, and seminars.
  • Educate clients on the benefits of solar energy, including financial incentives, environmental impact, and energy independence.

6. Reporting and Performance Analysis:

  • Track and report on sales performance, client acquisition, and revenue growth.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on business development activities and outcomes.


Qualifications & Skills

6 years of experience in B2B sales

·      Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing high-value client accounts.
