Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager (BDM) with 5+ years of proven expertise in managing the complete business development lifecycle. This is a high-ownership role where you'll directly impact our revenue growth, lead client acquisition strategies, and collaborate with internal tech teams.
The ideal candidate is a go-getter who thrives in a high-growth environment and has a strong command of lead generation through international freelancing portals and direct outreach.

Key Responsibilities

(What you'll be doing)

• Own the entire business development cycle—from lead generation to closing deals.
• Build and nurture strong client relationships (existing and new).
• Create and pitch compelling proposals tailored to client needs.
• Work with portals like Upwork, Freelancer, PPH, Fiverr, and generate qualified leads.
• Utilize tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email marketing, and cold outreach tools.
• Meet revenue targets and report progress to leadership.
• Collaborate with internal technical, marketing, and delivery teams for alignment.
• Represent the company in client meetings, presentations, and strategy calls.
• Maintain CRM records, generate reports, and track pipeline metrics.
• Analyze market trends and identify new business opportunities.

Requirements

(What you must bring to the table)

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in business development, preferably in IT/tech services.
• Deep understanding of freelancing platforms and how to win projects.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills.
• Familiarity with sales automation, CRM tools, and productivity platforms.
• Ability to manage pressure and deliver in deadline-driven environments.
• Strong analytical mindset and data-driven decision-making.
• Proven ability to close deals and meet or exceed revenue goals.
• Bachelor's/Master’s in Business, Marketing, or IT preferred.
