Business Development Manager (BDM) – Sales (Lighting Industry) | Mumbai Location Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our sales team in the Lighting Industry . The role involves identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of lighting solutions. Key Responsibilities: Market Research & Lead Generation: Identify new business opportunities in the lighting industry. Generate leads through networking, digital marketing, and referrals. Analyze market trends and competitor activities. Sales & Business Development: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business targets. Engage with architects, interior designers, electrical consultants, and corporate clients to promote lighting products. Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions with potential clients. Convert leads into sales and manage the sales cycle efficiently. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business. Address client queries, provide after-sales support, and ensure timely product delivery. Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with the marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with company objectives. Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis for senior management. Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities. Required Qualifications & Skills: Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field . An MBA is a plus. Experience: 2-5 years of experience in sales or business development , preferably in the lighting, electrical, or allied industries . Skills & Competencies: Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills. Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM tools. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently or in a team. Compensation & Benefits: Salary: ₹ 3 0,000 – ₹50,000 per month (based on experience) + performance-based Benefits include health insurance, travel allowance. Work Schedule & Location: Job Type: Full-time, Permanent. Work Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra (Field + Office Work). Work Hours: Day Shift, Monday – Saturday (6 days a week).
