Role

The BDM will be responsible for driving sales growth and market penetration in the Delhi region via dealer and distributor channels. This includes identifying new business opportunities, acquiring and managing channel partners, ensuring sales targets are met, and aligning with company brand/product strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a sales & business development plan for the Delhi NCR region to meet/exceed revenue, volume and margin targets.
  • Identify, recruit and onboard new dealers/distributors, ensuring adequate coverage & geographic spread within the region.
  • Manage and grow relationships with existing channel partners (dealers/distributors), ensuring they are motivated, trained and aligned with product/brand strategy.
  • Present and promote company’s building‑material product portfolio (e.g., laminates, WPC boards, decorative panels) to channel partners and key customers.
  • Conduct market research & competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activity; feed insights to product & marketing teams.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product teams to plan and execute channel promotions, product launches, training sessions, and campaigns for the region.
  • Monitor partner performance: sales volume, stock levels, credit status, service support, showroom/display standards; intervene proactively when gap arises.
  • Forecast sales, maintain pipeline, prepare MIS reports, and provide regular updates to senior management.
  • Ensure timely resolution of channel partner issues (logistics, service, complaints) and maintain high partner/end‐customer satisfaction.
  • Organize local dealer meets, product demonstrations, showroom audits, and other field activities to build brand visibility and drive traction.
  • Ensure compliance with company policy on pricing, credit, contracts, branding and channel agreements.

Key Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales & Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in sales/ business development/ channel management, preferably in building materials, construction materials or related B2B sectors.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing channel/distributor networks.
  • Strong relationship building, negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Good understanding of the building materials market (laminates, WPC, boards, etc) will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills (Hindi + English) and presentation skills.
  • Analytical mindset: ability to interpret sales data, monitor KPIs and act on insights.
  • Comfortable working in the field, travelling across region, meeting partners & customers.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Excel, PowerPoint, MIS reporting.
  • Self‑driven, result oriented, good team‑player and capable of working in a fast‑paced growth environment.
