COMPANY OVERVIEW

Purple Sketch is looking for a dynamic, high-energy Business Development Lead to spearhead our growth engine. As an integrated agency, we bridge the gap between digital innovation and physical experiences. We need a leader who can translate our diverse service suite—from digital marketing to offline experiential activations—into winning pitches and long-term client partnerships.

This is a high-impact role where you will own the entire sales lifecycle, build a high-performing team, and play a pivotal role in shaping the agency's revenue roadmap.


Key Responsibilities :

1. Strategic Growth & Forecasting

  • Revenue Roadmap: Design and execute a comprehensive annual business development strategy.
  • Data-Driven Forecasting: Create and manage rigorous annual, quarterly, and monthly sales forecasts to ensure predictable growth.
  • Market Intelligence: Identify emerging trends in both the digital and offline marketing landscapes to position Purple Sketch ahead of competitors.


2.  End-to-End Sales Management

  • Pipeline Ownership: Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to closing and contract negotiation in co-ordination with your team.
  • Integrated Solutions: Collaborate with the creative and strategy teams to craft bespoke, 360-degree marketing solutions for clients.
  • High-Value Conversions: Personally lead "Big Ticket" pitches and secure high-intent accounts.


3.  Leadership & Team Development

  • Department Management: Structure and lead the BD department, setting clear KPIs and performance benchmarks.
  • Mentorship: Coach a team of BD executives, to drive sales and meet the business targets consistently.


4.  Client Relationship Management (CRM)

  • Rapport Building: Act as the face of the agency for prospective clients, establishing trust and deep-rooted professional relationships.
  • Key Account Growth: Work closely with the account management team to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.


Key Skillset :

  • Strong strategic thinking and an "Integrated" mindset, with the ability to navigate both digital and offline strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on high-impact storytelling and the ability to deliver non-negotiable presentation standards.
  • Proven ability to sell business "solutions" rather than just services, addressing core client problems with a results-driven and analytical approach.
  • Extensive active network of CMOs, Brand Managers, and Marketing Heads, with a specific focus and established reputation.
  • A proven track record of consistently hitting or exceeding revenue targets within a reputable marketing agency environment.
  • Tech-savvy proficiency in CRM tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, presentation software including PowerPoint and Canva and spreadsheets ((Excel, Google Sheets).
  • Marketing graduate (preferred); additional certifications from Upgrad + MICA or Digital Vidya (CDMM) are a plus.
  • Strong ownership-driven approach with the ability to manage multiple leads and projects under pressure while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to Gurgaon.
