InDesign Elements is a multidisciplinary creative design studio delivering branding, digital content, environmental design, and strategic creative solutions for brands that value aesthetics, clarity, and strong storytelling. We work closely with founders, marketing teams, and decision-makers to build brands that stand out with purpose. 

Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and organised Business Development Intern to support our growth initiatives. The intern will play a key role in generating leads, managing outreach, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and ensuring our sales pipelines move smoothly. 

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation & Funnel Management

  • Run and manage lead generation funnels across platforms (LinkedIn, email, referrals, directories, etc.) 
  • Identify potential clients in target sectors and build qualified lead lists. 
  • Track funnel performance and optimise for conversion. 


2. Outreach & Communication

  • Execute structured outreach campaigns (email, LinkedIn messages, follow-ups). 
  • Draft personalised communication for prospects based on their business needs. 
  • Maintain consistent and professional brand communication. 


3. CRM & Data Management

  • Manage and update the CRM with all ongoing leads, activities, and pipeline stages. 
  • Ensure data accuracy, proper tagging, and follow-up tracking. 


4. Meeting Scheduling & Coordination

  • Schedule discovery calls, presentations, and pitch meetings with clients. 
  • Coordinate with the Creative Director, founders, and project teams to ensure meeting readiness. 
  • Maintain a shared weekly calendar for business development activities.


5. Lead Nurturing

  • Maintain warm communication with inbound and outbound leads. 
  • Share relevant case studies, presentations, credentials, and updates. 
  • Track engagement and conversions from interest to consultation. 


6. Collaboration & Internal Sync

  • Attend weekly sync-ups with founders and directors to share pipeline updates. 
  • Assist in preparing pitch decks, proposals, and marketing material when needed. 
  • Support in market research for new opportunities and emerging industries. 

 

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Basic understanding of CRM tools (HubSpot, Zoho, Notion CRM, etc.) 
  • Interest in design, branding, and marketing is a strong plus. 
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks with accountability. 
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Calendar).
