About the Role (Entry Level/ 2-3 years of experience) We are seeking a motivated and enterprising Business Development professional with prior experience in exhibition space sales and sponsorship acquisition , specifically within the food processing and agriculture domain . This role offers a unique opportunity to work across both Indian and international markets under two fast-growing business advisory firms: IndoWorldFood Ventures LLP (India): A strategy-led advisory firm delivering food regulatory support, trade facilitation, and stakeholder engagement. IndoGlobal Growth Partners (Dubai): A Middle East-based venture enabling cross-border business growth across key sectors. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a sales-focused, dynamic, and cross-functional environment and is capable of taking ownership of business outcomes. Key Responsibilities: π― Exhibition Sales & Sponsorship Development Drive sales for exhibition space bookings and sponsorship acquisition across trade shows, summits, and business forums. Identify, pitch, and close sponsorship deals with relevant B2B clients from the food, agriculture, and allied sectors . Prepare compelling proposals, partnership decks, and sponsorship deliverables. π€ Client Relationship & Industry Engagement Build and manage relationships with corporate clients, industry bodies, government agencies , and strategic partners. Ensure a seamless client experience through structured pre-event, during-event, and post-event coordination . Represent the organization at industry expos, networking forums, and partner-led business meets. π Strategic Business Development & Expansion Generate qualified leads and pursue exhibitor/sponsor acquisition pipelines across India and the Middle East. Identify new market opportunities and contribute to the sales strategy for event and non-event initiatives. Track client conversations and maintain CRM systems and business documentation. π§© Coordination & Project Management Liaise with internal departments including content, marketing, design, and operations to ensure timely and high-quality execution of event deliverables. Manage timelines, client expectations, and vendor coordination for smooth end-to-end delivery. Track project milestones and report progress to leadership. π Additional Responsibilities (Project-Based & Lean Periods) When not actively working on event-related projects, the candidate will be expected to support business development for IndoWorldFood Venturesβ core consulting and regulatory services , such as: Generating leads and engaging with clients in areas like food regulatory compliance, certification support, and trade advisory. Preparing BD proposals, updating client pipelines, and maintaining contact reports. Supporting strategic initiatives and stakeholder engagement programs within India and the GCC region. Who Should Apply? Weβre looking for a sales-driven, adaptable, and detail-oriented professional who understands the domain and enjoys managing client relationships while delivering results. β Must-have: Minimum 2 years of experience in exhibition sales, sponsorship acquisition , or business development. Prior experience in the food processing/agriculture domain is mandatory . Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strong coordination and multitasking ability. β Good to have: Experience working with industry expos, trade fairs, or B2B forums . Prior exposure to clients in the Middle East or export-linked projects. Familiarity with B2B media, CRM tools, and project tracking systems.
