Role Description:

Custom Project Sales Executive

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation & Prospecting:

  • Identify and target potential clients in need of custom software solutions.
  • Develop a strong sales pipeline through networking, cold calling, attending industry events, and utilizing social media platforms.

Client Engagement & Consultation:

  • Engage with clients to understand their business challenges, requirements, and project objectives.
  • Act as a consultant to propose tailored software solutions that align with client needs.
  • Present proposals, demos, and project outlines to clients, showcasing value-added features.

Sales Process Management:

  • Manage the full sales process from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing.
  • Collaborate with the project management and technical teams to ensure that client expectations and project scopes are properly communicated and aligned.
  • Prepare and present detailed proposals, including timelines and cost estimates.

Collaboration with Technical Teams:

  • Work closely with software developers, product managers, and other technical staff to accurately convey client needs.
  • Ensure alignment between client expectations and project deliverables.
  • Stay updated on the latest software trends and technologies to provide the best solutions to clients.

Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
  • Provide post-sale support and address any client concerns or issues that arise during project implementation.

Sales Reporting & Targets:

  • Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the business.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analyses to present to the management team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in software sales, particularly in custom or enterprise-level software solutions as custom ERP, CRM, or SaaS-based solutions..
  • Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Ability to translate technical features into business benefits and communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess client needs and propose tailored solutions.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Familiarity with software technologies such as Laravel, Python, Cloud-based solutions, or other development frameworks is a plus.
  • Experience in B2B sales is a plus
