Role Summary


Junior Executive - Business Development


Responsibilities


Core Functions


  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve the product's revenue targets and business objectives.
  2. Identify and target potential customers, industries, and markets to expand the customer base and drive sales growth.
  3. Developing Reseller, Direct B2B sales channels.
  4. The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  5. Stay current with industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new business opportunities and address challenges.
  6. Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, preferences, and trends, and provide feedback to product development teams.
  7. Develop and deliver sales training programs to enhance the knowledge and skills of the sales team, ensuring they are well-equipped to sell the product portfolio effectively.
  8. Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, prepare regular reports, and provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
  9. Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to represent the company, promote products, and generate leads.
  10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, operations, and customer support, to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.


Key Competencies/Skills


Mandatory Skills


  1. Strong knowledge and understanding of the product sales process, including lead generation, qualification, negotiation, and closing.
  2. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport, influence decision-making, and deliver compelling presentations.
  3. Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends to drive strategic decisions.
  5. Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend conferences, and represent the company.


Desired Skills


  1. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  2. Knowledge of Drones/Mining/Solar/Utilities/Agriculture.
  3. Self-motivated and goal-oriented mindset, with a passion for driving sales growth and achieving targets.
  4. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.


Qualifications


  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering is a must (Mining, Aerospace, Hydroinformatics, GIS)
  2. 0-2 years of proven track record of successful sales management, preferably in a product-focused role.
