Job Description

Job Title: Business Development Executive – Embedded Systems

Role Summary:

The Business Development Manager (Embedded Systems) is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with clients in the electronics, embedded systems, IoT and system integration in various industrial sectors, and driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships and proposals. The role bridges technical understanding and commercial acumen to position the company’s embedded products and services effectively in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development & Market Expansion

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in embedded systems, IoT, defence, industrial electronics, and automotive sectors.
  • Research market trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings.
  • Develop and implement short- and long-term sales strategies aligned with company goals.

2. Client & Partner Engagement

  • Build and maintain relationships with OEMs, system integrators, R&D organizations, and defence/public sector units (PSUs).
  • Understand client requirements and work closely with technical and design teams to propose solutions.
  • Represent the company in tender meetings, RFP/RFQ discussions, trade shows, and conferences.

3. Bid / Proposal Management

  • Coordinate with engineering teams to prepare technical and commercial proposals.
  • Support in pricing strategy, cost estimation, and value proposition development.
  • Maintain accurate bid tracker and follow up until closure.

4. Strategic Partnerships

  • Identify potential technology partners, distributors, and system integrators.
  • Develop MoUs / channel agreements to expand solution reach.
  • Engage with government departments and defence procurement offices for registration, empanelment, and vendor approvals.

5. Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare monthly business reports, sales forecasts, and pipeline updates.
  • Provide management insights on market dynamics and competitor strategies.

Experience preparing proposals, RFP responses, technical-commercial offers.

CRM software, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), ERP/SAP (preferred).

Qualifications & Experience:

  • B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Communication, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related field
  • (MBA in Marketing / International Business preferred)
  • 3–10 years of experience in business development, sales, or techno-commercial roles in embedded systems / electronics industry.
  • Exposure to government / defence tenders (DRDO, BEL, ISRO, etc.) is an added advantage.
  • Proven track record of achieving business growth targets and managing key accounts

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
