Role Description

The Business Analyst serves as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that organizational objectives are effectively translated into actionable solutions. This role involves analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and supporting the design and implementation of systems, processes, and strategies that enhance operational efficiency and decision-making. The Business Analyst collaborates closely with project teams to gather requirements, document workflows, and ensure solutions align with business needs and strategic goals.

Core responsibilities include conducting detailed research and analysis to identify business challenges, opportunities, and process gaps. The Business Analyst engages with stakeholders to collect, document, and prioritize business and technical requirements, ensuring clarity and accuracy. They assist in designing and implementing process improvements, generating reports, and creating dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and project outcomes.

The Business Analyst also supports the testing and validation of new systems or process changes, ensuring that deliverables meet business requirements and performance expectations. They play a critical role in facilitating communication between teams, helping to manage expectations and maintain alignment throughout project lifecycles. Additionally, the Business Analyst contributes to business case development, feasibility assessments, and the preparation of functional specifications and user stories for technology or process initiatives.

They should be skilled at problem-solving, data interpretation, and stakeholder communication. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and present actionable insights.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and software such as Microsoft Excel, Visio, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of business process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, BPM) and best practices.
• Familiarity with project management and software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
• Strong communication, documentation, and presentation skills for engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to develop process models, workflows, functional specifications, and user stories.
• Proficiency in reporting, data analysis, and performance measurement.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality, accuracy, and consistency.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of data visualization and analytics tools to support business decision-making.
• Professional certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or Agile certifications are advantageous.
