Role Overview

Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Connect databases (

  MySQL, Postgres, BigQuery, etc.

  ) to BI and analytics tools (

  Metabase, Power BI, Tableau

  ).
• Design, build, and maintain dashboards in

  Metabase

  to track product adoption, sales performance, partner success, and campaign outcomes.
• Perform in-depth

  Excel analysis

  (pivot tables, macros, Power Query, advanced formulas).
• Write

  advanced SQL queries

  for data extraction, manipulation, and validation.
• Use

  Python (pandas, numpy, matplotlib, etc.)

  for automation, analytics, and predictive modeling.
• Collaborate with

  Product, Engineering, Partnerships, and Marketing

  teams to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Ensure

  data accuracy, quality, and consistency

  across all reporting systems.
• Support A/B testing, funnel analysis, and growth experiments with data-driven insights.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in

  Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science

  , or related field.

• 2–4 years

  of experience as a

  Business Analyst / Data Analyst

  , preferably in

  SaaS, Tech, or Analytics-focused environments

  .
• Advanced proficiency in

  Excel

  (pivot tables, macros, automation).
• Strong hands-on experience with

  BI tools

  (Metabase, Power BI, or Tableau).
• Proficiency in

  SQL

  and good understanding of relational databases.
• Working knowledge of

  Python

  for data analysis and automation.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to

  translate complex datasets into business insights

  .
• Excellent

  communication, storytelling, and presentation skills

  .

• Exposure to

  SaaS or API-driven business models

  .
• Experience working closely with

  product and growth teams

  in a startup environment.
• Familiarity with

  statistical methods, A/B testing, and experimentation frameworks
