Job Description

Job Title:- Branch Manager Small ticket Business LAP

Department:- Sales

Reporting To:- Regional Sales Manager / Zonal Sales Manager

Job Purpose:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Business Development

  • Drive sales for the Micro LAP product (ticket size 550 lakhs)
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly disbursement, yield, and cross-sell targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities in branch catchment areas.
  • Develop and implement local strategies to increase market penetration.

2. Team Management

  • Lead, motivate, and monitor a team of Sales Officers / Relationship Managers.
  • Guide the team on lead generation, customer acquisition, and file quality.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and ensure productivity targets are met.
  • Train and mentor team members for skill enhancement and career growth.

3. Credit & Portfolio Quality

  • Ensure sourcing of high-quality cases with proper due diligence.
  • Maintain healthy portfolio quality by minimizing delinquency and NPAs.
  • Coordinate with the credit and operations team for smooth loan processing.

4. Market & Competitor Analysis

  • Keep track of market trends, competitor activities, and rate movements.
  • Provide feedback to management for product and policy improvements.

5. Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, KYC, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate MIS reports and ensure timely submission to management.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of secured lending / LAP / Micro LAP segment.
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to work under pressure and achieve stretch targets.
  • Proven track record in sales and team management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduate / Post Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred).
  • 3-5 years of experience in retail lending, preferably in Micro LAP / Secured SME loans.
