Job Description

The Branch Head is a dynamic and results-oriented leader responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the branch operations, with a primary focus on driving sales and achieving business targets for the life insurance company. Job Roles and Responsibilities: Provide ongoing coaching, support, and guidance to team members to enhance their product knowledge, sales skills, and customer relationship management abilities. Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment that encourages high performance and ethical conduct. Monitor team performance against set targets and implement strategies to improve productivity. Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve branch sales targets and business growth objectives. Drive the sales of life insurance products by ensuring the team effectively engages with potential customers and understands their needs. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business expansion. Personally contribute to sales efforts, particularly in handling key accounts or complex cases. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring smooth and efficient processes. Manage branch resources effectively, including budget, infrastructure, and technology. Ensure the team provides excellent customer service and builds strong, long-term relationships with clients. Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively. Ensure the branch operates in full compliance with all relevant insurance regulations and company policies. Qualification & Experience Required: Bachelor's degree in any discipline. Minimum 7 years of experience in the Life Insurance industry is mandatory. Minimum 1 year of experience in team management and handling is essential. Proven track record of achieving significant business targets, with a demonstrable business volume of at least INR 1 Crore in previous organizations. Strong understanding of life insurance products, sales processes, and market dynamics. Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
