Banquet Manager

As a Banquet Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all banquet events, ensuring they run smoothly and meet guest expectations. Your role will involve coordinating operations, supervising staff, liaising with clients, and managing banquet inventory to deliver high-quality services. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate all banquet operations, from planning to post-event follow-up. - Supervise setup, service, and breakdown of banquet functions. - Liaise with clients, event planners, and internal departments to understand event requirements. - Create detailed event execution plans and allocate staff accordingly. - Ensure timely preparation of banquet halls, audio-visual equipment, and buffet/service setups. - Monitor staff performance, provide training, and maintain high service standards. - Resolve service or guest issues promptly and professionally. - Manage banquet inventory including linens, cutlery, glassware, and event supplies. - Control costs by minimizing waste and optimizing labor and resources. - Generate post-event reports and contribute to continuous improvement of banquet services. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related field. - 1-2 years of banquet or F&B supervisory experience in a hotel or events setting. - Excellent organizational and time management skills. - Strong leadership and team management abilities. - Attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure. - Good interpersonal and client-handling skills. - Proficiency in event management software and MS Office. - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
