Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Advanced Excel Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Excel, including advanced functions, data analysis, and reporting. This role involves creating complex spreadsheets, managing large datasets, and generating reports to support decision-making processes. Key Responsibilities: • Data Management: o Create, modify, and maintain complex Excel spreadsheets and databases. o Use advanced functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, pivot tables) to manage and analyze large datasets. o Ensure data integrity and accuracy through rigorous data validation processes. • Reporting and Analysis: o Develop and maintain dashboards, charts, and reports to present key metrics and trends. o Analyze data to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies. o Provide actionable insights based on data analysis to support business objectives. • Automation and Efficiency: o Utilize macros, VBA (Visual Basic for Applications), and Power Query to automate repetitive tasks and improve workflow efficiency. o Create and maintain automated reporting processes to reduce manual effort. • Collaboration and Support: o Collaborate with other departments to gather requirements and understand their data needs. o Provide technical support and training to team members on Excel functionalities and best practices. o Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Excel files and data processes. • Documentation and Compliance: o Document processes, procedures, and Excel models for transparency and future reference. o Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and company policies. Qualifications: • Education: o Bachelor’s degree in Data Analysis, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience. • Experience: o Minimum of [X] years of experience working with advanced Excel functions and data analysis. o Proven experience with macros, VBA, and other automation tools. • Skills: o Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data visualization. o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. o Ability to manage and manipulate large datasets efficiently. o Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. o Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to nontechnical stakeholders. o Experience with other data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
