About the Role:
Seeking a strategic and hands-on Human Resources leader to drive the full spectrum of HR functions for a multi-plant manufacturing organisation. The role requires partnering closely with business leaders to scale talent, nurture culture, and maintain compliance in a dynamic, diversified industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategy aligned with business growth, operations across multiple manufacturing units, and product lines.
- Lead talent acquisition, workforce planning, and succession management to support rapid business scaling and retention of critical skills.
- Foster a culture of safety, diversity, inclusion, and employee engagement consistent with the companies values and manufacturing ethos.
- Oversee compensation, benefits, performance management, and learning & development programmes tailored to shop floor and corporate teams.
- Manage labor relations and union negotiations and ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws, statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Drive HR digitalisation efforts such as HRMS/HRIS implementation, real-time analytics/dashboards, and workflow automation for improved operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with senior leadership as a strategic advisor on organisational design, change management, and leadership development.
- Champion health, safety, and environmental HR practices aligned with manufacturing industry standards.

Required Qualifications
- Graduate with MBA / PGDM in HR or equivalent.
- 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with significant exposure to manufacturing or industrial sectors and multi-plant operations.
- Proven experience managing workforce in unionised and non-unionised manufacturing environments, including labour relations and negotiations.
- Strong working knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated success in talent management, succession planning, organisational development, and employee engagement across shop floor and corporate teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with experience advising senior leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience driving HR technology adoption (HRMS/HRIS), people analytics, and digital HR transformation projects.
- Track record of designing and implementing culture transformation, leadership development, and safety-focused HR programmes in manufacturing settings.
- Experience working in diversified manufacturing product lines (for example: building materials, fibre cement, yarn, solar) and supporting rapid business scaling.
- Familiarity with modern performance management frameworks, L&D design for shop floor workforce, and data-driven HR analytics.
