We are seeking a skilled and innovative Power Apps/ServiceNow Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain custom applications, automations, and integrations across Microsoft’s Power Platform, ServiceNow and Jira. This role requires strong technical capability, the ability to understand business processes, and a willingness to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance tools, streamline workflows, and drive operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy solutions using Power Apps, automate workflows with Power Automate, build dashboards in Power BI, and create conversational tools with Power Virtual Agents.
- Customize and enhance ServiceNow applications, workflows, catalog items, scripts, dashboards, reports, and integrations.
- Provide production support, bug fixes, enhancements, data extraction, reporting, and handle ad-hoc requests through Teams and JIRA.
- Follow the complete SDLC for all development—requirements, design, documentation, testing, deployment, and change control.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, TPMs, Scrum Masters, and Senior Managers to gather requirements and deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
- Communicate design decisions, risks, issues, and progress effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Conduct thorough testing to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of applications.
- Maintain detailed technical and user documentation while adhering to development best practices, version control standards, and governance processes.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects, prioritize tasks effectively, and proactively identify risks affecting timelines and deliverables.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents).
- Experience with ServiceNow integrations, along with supporting application customization, scripting, workflows, catalog items, automation, and reporting as needed.
- Experience using JIRA for task management, workflow tracking, support requests, and SDLC processes.
- Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with Azure, Dynamics 365, SharePoint, SQL, and/or REST APIs.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, JSON, SQL, and cloud-based integration patterns.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, debugging, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while supporting multiple ongoing projects.
Preferred Skills & Certifications
- Microsoft Power Platform Certifications (PL-900, PL-100, PL-200, PL-400).
- ServiceNow Certifications (CSA, CAD, or related).
- Experience in automotive or manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Lean principles, and Azure DevOps.
