Associate Product Manager

Job Summary:

As the Associate Product Manager at Phenom People, you will be responsible for driving the strategy, development, and launch of our candidate experience product. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, sales, and marketing to deliver a best-in-class candidate experience that aligns with our company's vision and goals.

What You'll Do:

• Experience interfacing with customers or development teams
• Experience with JIRA or equivalent product development management tools
• Storytelling and vision setting skills
• Proficiency with Agile/Scrum/Kanban development methodologies
• Knowledge of the talent management industry
• Experience working with international teams
• Experience at a startup/fast paced environment
• Experience product based on user research and competitive analysis.
• Demonstrated proficiency in working with AI products.
• Managing customer expectations and leading the implementation for early products.
• 2-4 years of SaaS product management experience

What You've Done:

Must-Have:

• 2+ years of product management experience with at least 2 years in a technical or observability-related role.
• Strong understanding of APM concepts: distributed tracing, metrics aggregation, anomaly detection, alerting, root cause analysis.
• Scaling the product journey from 1 to 10.
• Familiarity with B2B, customer management, data analysis, user research, and competitive analysis.
• Experience working with engineers on deeply technical systems and scalable backend architecture.
• Proficiency in creating technically detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a bias for action and customer empathy.

Nice-to-Have:

• Background in software engineering, DevOps, or site reliability engineering.
• Experience in building Technical products
• Competitive analysis.
• Experience in working with the customers directly
