Job Description

Position: Associate Product Manager
Experience: 0–2 years

About the Role

We are looking for a Product Manager Intern who is passionate about building scalable technology products and solving complex technical problems. You will work closely with engineering, data, UX, and business teams to define product requirements, analyze performance metrics, and support execution of the product roadmap. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical foundation and an interest in product strategy and user-centric development.

Key Responsibilities

Work with engineering teams to define functional and technical requirements for new features.
Convert product vision and customer needs into clear PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Assist in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and priority management.
Perform market research and competitive benchmarking of technology products (SaaS / Automotive / AI / IoT / Telematics etc.).
Analyze system metrics, product usage data, and performance KPIs to drive data-based decisions.
Support integration projects, API feature evaluation, and technical solution discussions.
Participate in customer interviews and translate feedback into actionable insights.
Work collaboratively with UI/UX designers to build wireframes, workflows, and prototypes.
Conduct QA and UAT testing for new feature releases, ensuring alignment with requirements.
Prepare documentation, release notes, and internal training material for product launches.

Technical Requirements

Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science or related field.
Good understanding of software development concepts (APIs, databases, cloud, system architecture).
Ability to understand technical discussions and break down complex problems.
Strong analytical skills—comfortable working with Excel/Sheets, SQL or analytics tools.
Experience or familiarity with tools such as:
Jira / Confluence / Figma / Miro / Google Sheets
Knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies.

Bonus: Knowledge of AI/ML, IoT, Automotive systems, Telematics, Android Automotive OS, or SaaS platforms is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
Internship or hands-on experience in project coordination, technology, product, or design roles is an added advantage.
Basic understanding or familiarity with SaaS platforms, mobile applications, AI/ML, IoT, or automotive/telematics domains is preferred but not mandatory.

Soft Skills

Strong communication and documentation skills.
Ability to think logically and prioritize based on impact.
Curious, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced collaborative environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹11,660.42 - ₹35,413.12 per month
