Assistant Service Manager

Job Summary:

The Assistant Service Manager will play a key role in managing and optimizing the entire service process, ensuring efficient operations, high customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement across service delivery, tools management, procurement, audits, and training activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-job and theoretical training for technicians and staff.
• Standardize and audit service processes to ensure efficiency and compliance.
• Manage tools, machines, and consumable inventories, including audits and procurement.
• Oversee service price updates, invoice accuracy, and software checks.
• Handle customer grievances and ensure timely resolution.
• Coordinate with vendors, stores, and supervisors for smooth operations.
• Implement and audit 5S practices in service and store areas.
• Support recruitment and competency building of service technicians.
• Develop business tie-ups with corporate clients and garages.
• Plan and execute engagement schemes and influencer/vendor meets.
• Analyze service performance data to drive continuous improvement.
• Monitor and update Service Price MOP (Method of Procedure) as needed
• Oversee regular Machine Check-Ups to ensure operational readiness.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Management, or relevant field preferred. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and audit skills.
• Minimum 2 -5 years of experience in service management, preferably in automotive or tyre industry.
• Strong knowledge of service operations, tools management, and procurement processes.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to handle customer grievances and vendor relationships professionally.
• Proficient in data analysis and service-related software tools
