Job Description- Assistant Manager- Product The Assistant Manager- Product will be at the forefront of conceptualizing and developing new real estate projects, translating market intelligence and customer insights into impactful product strategies. This strategic role blends a strong understanding of design and engineering fundamentals with deep market awareness to ensure product offerings are both innovative and commercially viable. The role requires conducting in-depth feasibility studies, competitor benchmarking, and customer needs assessments to identify gaps and opportunities in the market. Acting as a key liaison between internal departments- such as design, strategy, marketing, and sales- the Assistant Manager will be responsible for crafting detailed project briefs that align stakeholder expectations with real-world requirements. In addition, the role demands the development of compelling product USPs, optimal unit mixes, and pricing strategies that resonate with the target audience. The candidate will play a critical part in shaping the initial product proposition, positioning it effectively in the market, and defining robust go-to-market strategies. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of design thinking, business strategy, and real estate domain knowledge, and who is eager to make a tangible impact on how products are envisioned and brought to life in the built environment. Key Responsibilities 1. Collaborate with design, marketing, and senior leadership to ensure alignment on product vision, goals, and timelines. 2. Prepare detailed project briefs through research, stakeholder consultation, and market requirement analysis. 3. Define product USPs and recommend optimal unit mix and configuration strategies. 4. Conduct market research and feasibility studies to identify customer aspirations and competitive gaps. 5. Support go-to-market strategies with pricing inputs, layout analysis, and creation of sales enablement tools. 6. Strategically manage inventory releases and develop tailored strategies for slow-moving units. 7. Monitor competitor activity and extract actionable insights for product and marketing teams. 8. Ideating with marketing and technology teams in building credible product roadmaps. Qualifications & Skills 1. 2– 4 years of experience in real estate, product management, or strategy roles. 2. Strong understanding of civil engineering and architectural principles. 3. Ability to read and interpret floor plans, elevations, and master layouts. 4. Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint/Canva and AutoCAD is mandatory. 5. Excellent skills in market research, analysis, communication, and stakeholder management. 6. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate, or a related field. 7. MBA or Business Management qualification is a plus.
