Safety Manager

Job Description- Safety Manager The Safety Manager will be responsible for implementing and managing safety programs and initiatives to ensure the well-being of employees, contractors, and visitors on our construction sites and other real estate projects. This role requires a strong understanding of safety regulations, risk assessment, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to promote a culture of safety within the organization. Key Responsibilities: 1. Safety Program Development: Develop, implement, and continually improve safety programs and policies in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards. 2. Training and Education: Provide safety training to employees and contractors, covering topics such as hazard communication, emergency procedures, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Foster a culture of safety awareness through regular communication and educational initiatives. 3. Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into accidents, near misses, and other safety incidents to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions. Maintain accurate records of incidents, investigations, and corrective actions taken. 4. Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about changes in safety regulations and ensures the company's compliance with relevant laws and standards. Interface with regulatory agencies as needed and coordinate inspections. 5. Emergency Response Planning: Develop and implement emergency response plans for various scenarios, ensuring the readiness of the team to respond effectively in case of emergencies. 6. Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, site supervisors, and other stakeholders to integrate safety considerations into project planning and execution.
