To support Unit level occupational health and safety initiatives to support Head-Safety and Unit Head to achieve OHS targets as well as performance enhancement. Management of overall Occupational Health & Safety function at Unit level with continual improvement.
To coordinate with all stakeholders (internal & external) to enhance safety performance.
Ensure compliance of statutory requirement governed by DISH / PESO / CWC etc. Communicate with regulatory agencies as needed and provide necessary follow-up for inspections by regulatory agencies. Analysis of lagging indicators like accidents, incidents and near misses. Provide corrective actions to reduce the likelihood of recurrence.
Responsible for safety training planning and implementation, Safety Audits, Inspection & corrective actions to strengthening EHS system.
Coordinate, interface with all departments at site at all levels towards building a culture of zero safety incidence.
